RETScreen is a highly sophisticated tool capable of evaluating the techical, financial and environmental impact of a wide range of sustainable energy technologies, both individually and in combination.
In association with National Energy Foundation, Hermes Energy Services is presenting a one day workshop to give you the skills to use RETScreen to make robust sustainable energy decisions .
So, if you understand the principles of renewable energy and energy efficiency, but want to get serious and make investment decisions, RETScreen is ideal for providing robust financial assessments as well as assessing CO2 savings and energy produced/saved. You will gain hands on experience using RETScreen through a combination of presentation and working through specific cases. Two renewable energy technologies will be considered in detail and guidance given on other energy technologies.
By the end of the workshop you will have:
- gained skills in assessing and planning sustainable energy projects through examining real life case studies
- gained confidence in your ability to make quantified decision making for sustainable energy options
- discovered a means of communicating effectively about energy projects with a range of your project stakeholders - from planners to investors
