Developing countries are overtaking developed ones in terms of spending on utility-scale renewable and cleaner fossil power projects! Asian economies are showing strong growth in renewable energy investment. For the first time, according to a new report from the United Nations, developing economies overtook developed ones in terms of spending on utility-scale renewable energy projects. The increase in investment is largely due to a fall in equipment costs combined with policy support measures.
Following on from the hugely successful inaugural Clean Power Asia event in June 2011, see how these issues are continuing to develop at Clean Power Asia 2012, Bali International Convention Centre, May 14-16.
