Open to everyone involved or interested in the quality carbon market, The Gold Standard Academy will offer insight to Gold Standard processes to date. Providing interactive discussion and feedback with Gold Standard staff and other participants in the market, the two day event will be split into two thematic streams.
The first day will address buyer issues such as building a carbon portfolio within political and economic uncertainty, legal issues, a registry demonstration and possibilities for Gold Standard partnerships.
The second day, designed for project developers, includes an in-depth review of best practices when implementing the methodology, guidance sessions with validators and verifiers, and an interactive workshop that clarifies Gold Standard rules. The Academy aims to better prepare all Gold Standard actors to bring projects through the pipeline and onto the carbon marketplace.
