| Description: | SEEM is created as a non governmental, not for profit organisation to facilitate energy efficiency,complimentary to the efforts of governmental agencies like Bureau Of Energy Efficiency, Govt, of India. It has a membership of 100 Accredited Energy Engineers across the country. It is working as a ?THINK TANK? on energy efficiency matters for sustainable energy management. It is actively involved in training of energy professionals thru various capacity building programs. It has established working relationship with many national/international agency like Indian renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), Winrock International India, Energy Management Center, National Institute of Energy Management, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Energy Environment Technique Association (ATEE) in France to strengthen its capacity and share tools and methodologies developed in France for promoting energy efficiency in India. It has successfully conducted 13 training programs on energy efficiency and 350 energy professionals have participated in these programs. SEEM intends to publish a professional magazine viz. Energy h Manager in the near future. |
