Regional Secretariat East Asia
The office of the East Asia Regional Secretariat is based in Beijing at the Chinese Renewable Energy Industry Association, one of the most influential associations in China while connecting the international industries of renewable energy by partnering the abroad associations, institutes, academics, etc. The RS has close connection with the government authorities through which to impact the policy making and implementation. REEEP’s regional secretariats provide access to best practice in policy and finance to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. The East Asia Regional Secretariat is hosted by CREIA since it’s formulation in 2004 covered the priority countries including China, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Mongolia. The running of the Regional Secretariat has gained support from the Regional Steering Committee teamed by distinguished representatives from government, NGOs, Industry, Multinational Organizations, etc
