REEEP joins ADB's Energy for All Partnership

Eva Oberender, Regional Director REEEP Southeast Asia Pacific and Mark Fogarty, Chair of REEEP Southeast Asia and Pacific, were appointed as Members of the Steering Committee for the Asia Development Bank’s Energy for All Partnership.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has brought together business, NGOs, and governments to form a new partnership, “Energy for All” (E4ALL) in a bid to increase access to energy in Asia-Pacific for 100 million people by 2015.  E4ALL aims to provide a platform to stimulate the scaling up of access to energy by improving the sharing of information and resources and the flow of financing towards projects using appropriate technologies and a proven business case. The inaugural meeting of the Steering Committee was held in Singapore on 27 March 2009 and REEEP has joined this Partnership as a Steering Committee Member.
