European Energy Service Initiative announces Call for Projects for the fifth annual European Energy Service Awards.
EESI is seeking applications from innovative energy service providers, as well as those that have promoted energy services in a remarkable way or have been successful in implementing an energy service project in the public, commercial or lighting sector.
The European Energy Service Award have been honouring outstanding efforts and achievements for the development and success of energy services for energy efficiency in Europe since 2005. The award is offered in five categories:
* Best European Energy Service Provider
* Best European Energy Service Promoter
* Best European Energy Service Project in the Commercial, Public and Lighting Sector
The award is a highlight of the European Energy Service Initiative which was developed and launched in 2009 to provide a promotional platform for energy services in Europe. Its principal aim is to increase awareness on the options and opportunities of energy services especially for energy efficiency, by showing its successes and to motivate others.
The Awards will be bestowed at the European Energy Service Day in September 2010. The application deadline is the 30th of April 2010. Click here for further details.
