Why join REEEP?
Becoming either a Partner or Friend of REEEP sends a signal of intent to a global community that you are committed to accelerating the uptake of renewables and energy efficiency technology as a means of reducing carbon emissions, increasing energy security, and improving the access to sustainable energy for the poor worldwide.
REEEP seeks strong links with organisations and individuals who are willing to send this signal. A partnership is only as strong and active as the organisations and individuals involved. We have tried to structure a community in which members can contribute and exchange their experiences, to encourage and ensure global best practice in the renewable and energy efficiency field.
Partners and Friends
Partners of REEEP are organisations, which include governments, businesses, NGOs, financial institutions and other representatives of civil society. REEEP currently has nearly 300 Partner organisations, of which 46 are governments. (To see a list of all current partners, click the 'Who We Work With' tab in the navigation bar above.)
Partner organisations have the opportunity to work with and contribute to the strategic direction of REEEP. Organisations benefit from information exchange, promotion opportunities and networking.
Friends of REEEP are individuals with an interest in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Friends enjoy access to REEEP’s community area and have the ability to build a profile describing personal expertise and interests to other members of the green energy community.
