Apply to become a REEEP expert

In order to expand our network to include qualified and experienced independent professionals from around the world, it is with great pleasure that we invite interested parties to apply to become a REEEP Independent Expert.
Experts will be selected based on their experience and expertise in one or more:
- renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors (For e.g. solar energy, energy efficiency standards and labeling etc.),
- programme thematic areas (For e.g. Regulatory instruments, carbon finance etc.),
- countries of priority to the REEEP programme (For e.g, China, Uganda etc).
The selected experts may then be contracted to perform specific assignments in support of REEEP’s activities (e.g, Events, Publications, Projects etc.)
These assignments could include, but not be limited to:
- Project Proposal Assessments,
- Project Impact Assessments,
- Data collection and Report writing.
- Market Analysis.
REEEP will pay the expert a standard daily rate for any agreed and contracted services provided.
Any person selected to act as an Independent Expert for REEEP Programmes will do so on a purely individual and independent basis and must ensure that there is no conflict of interest due to professional or personal affiliations with project applicants and REEEP contractors.
The experts should not be employed by the REEEP secretariats or associated with any of the REEEP steering committee members or members of REEEP governance bodies.
Applications from qualified women and candidates from developing countries are encouraged, in particular from Africa and Small Island Developing States in the Pacific.
The deadline for applications is 12th September.
