The United Nations Industrial Development Organization-Shenzhen International Technology Promotion Center For Sustainable Development (UNIDO-ITPC) is seeking applications for its BlueSky Awards 2008 for the Global Top Ten Investment Scenarios to Apply New Technologies for Renewable Energy Utilization.
The Awards are held every two years to acknowledge new technologies and important innovations in the field of renewable energy. The aim is to stimulate investment flow into winning technology transfer to developing countries, and to encourage further development and application of technological advances in renewable energy.
The award will be appraised by an Evaluation Expert Committee selected from
UNIDO International Technology Centers Network. The winning technologies will be
invited to the BlueSky Award 2008 Evaluation and Presentation Ceremony this December 6th in Shenzhen, China and will be promoted globally.
