European cities: label efficiency in public buildings

The CONCERTO initiative is recommending that the new Energy Performance of Buildings Directive require authorities to display energy-performance certificates in visible places in all public buildings.
CONCERTO, which is comprised of some 45 cities from 18 EU member states, believes that the public sector must be the front-runner in raising energy-efficiency standards for buildings, and has been working closely with the Commission unit responsible for energy performance standards for buildings.
