Joint communiqué highlights REEEP

In a joint Ministerial statement from 25th August 2010 covering climate change and energy security issues, the Norwegian Minister for Petroleum and Energy Terje Riis-Johansen and the British Minister of State for Energy, Charles Hendry MP, both noted that they see REEEP as a suitable vehicle for working together to encourage the uptake of renewables and to widen access to clean energy in developing countries.
