Organised by European Energy Regulators CEER & ERGEG
Location: Brussels
Description:
Within the context of an ongoing public consultation on the CEER report "Regulatory aspects of the integration of wind generation in European electricity markets" (deadline for comments 18 February 2010), European energy regulators will hold a half-day workshop on the morning of 11 February 2010.
European energy regulators are considering this issue to ensure that the regime facilitates the deployment of wind generation and does not inhibit market integration. The purpose of this report is to present European energy regulators’ thoughts on how wind generation should be integrated into the market and network arrangements as well as to highlight areas for further consideration in light of its increasing deployment.
The workshop will provide regulators with the opportunity of dialogue with stakeholders and to consider the discussions during the workshop' within the context of the respective public consultations.
Stakeholders interested in participating in the workshop should complete the on-line registration form no later than 1 February 2010. Please note that places for the workshop are limited and registration is subject to confirmation.
