Clean Energy Week 2011
From 02.05.2011 to 07.05.2011
REEEP Endorsed
Organised by Clean Energy Council
Location: Melbourne
Description:
The inaugural Clean Energy Week - in Melbourne in May - will represent one of the most significant clean energy milestones in Australia's history.
Two of Australia’s leading renewable energy industry events will form the core of Australia’s inaugural Clean Energy Week in May next year.
The CEC National Conference and the ATRAA Conference have traditionally been held in different locations, but will be brought together under the same roof in 2011.
Interest in renewable energy was exploding and Clean Energy Week was a chance to deliver engaging events for the public, while continuing to provide business insights and networking opportunities for industry representatives.
There is currently nothing like this in Australia. Solar installers, business leaders, bureaucrats and politicians will rub shoulders with the general public at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in May 2011.
The doors of the exhibition space will be opened to the public for the first time and events will be running throughout the week for interested people who want to know more about the future of energy in their country. There will be wind farm open days, public lectures and more.
Meanwhile, decision-makers and industry representatives will gather to hear about the latest trends on clean energy policy and technology from across the country and the world.
