Business Model for Village Power in East Asian Countries

Purpose

To transfer Chinese and international best practices of village power to East Asia countries via the establishment of a business model for PV village power in Mongolia.

Main Activities

  • Summarise village power experiences in China and Mongolia focusing on financial models used;
  • Develop a business model based on an installed village power system in Mongolia;
  • Implement the business model produced;
  • Organise a regional workshop to disseminate lessons learning and study results.

Expected Impact

  • Increased sustainable development of village power across the region;
  • Development of the village power business by identifying successful financial mechanisms and policy frameworks.
