REEEP at COP23 - Fiji in Bonn

Fiji is hosting the 23rd Conference of Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Bonn, Germany. As every year, REEEP will be present, organising and participating in side events. The list below gives an overview of where to find us, and will be updated daily before and during the COP.

REEEP at COP22 in Marrakech

In November 2016, Marrakech will host the Twenty-Second Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 22). After last year’s historic adoption of the Paris Agreement, this meeting will focus mainly on preparing for the entry into force of the agreement. As the official website states: "COP22 will be one of action." REEEP will be organising two side events and participating in a number of others; see the full REEEP at COP calendar below.

REEEP at COP 21

The 21st Conference of the Parties, the most momentous COP in nearly two decades, begins on November 30th, 2015. REEEP will be participating in the following events at Le Bourget.

GUIDE: The Status of Climate Finance at COP20, Lima

A new briefing by the Climate Finance Advisory Service (CFAS) highlights the key climate finance issues on the agenda of the Conference of the Parties (COP) and the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) at their meeting in Lima Peru in December 2014. The CFAS Guide: The Status of Climate Finance at COP20, Lima is authored by David Eckstein and Alpha Kaloga (Germanwatch), Alix Mazounie (RAC-France), Sven Harmeling (CARE), Raju Chhetri (independent consultant) and Henriette Imelda (IESR), with support from Sönke Kreft (Germanwatch).

COP 20 Side Event: Innovation and Collaboration for Transforming Knowledge into Climate Action

Relevant, timely and credible knowledge is critical to addressing climate change. The Climate Knowledge Brokers Group will report on new collaborative ways for managing data and information, sourced from different silos to create knowledge, insight and understanding. Includes hands-on case studies.

COP 19

The 19th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC and the 9th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol will take place from 11 to 22 November 2013. The conference will be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.
