Sustainable Energy Regulation Network (SERN) is a REEEP-funded strategic initiative that produces extensive, in-depth studies on how policy and regulatory mechanisms promote and accelerate the development of sustainable energy. SERN is co-ordinated by researchers at University College London - Energy Institute in the UK.

An important upgrade to the RETScreen Software, was released this month. RETScreen Suite integrates the RETScreen 4 clean energy project analysis software and the RETScreen Plus energy management software, and incorporates the Global benchmark database and Clean Energy Policy Toolkit that were funded under REEEP's Programme.

Policymakers in the world’s major developing countries are achieving mixed results in their efforts to stimulate clean energy investment, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has found.  The research was commissioned by the Renewable Energy and Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) to identify corporate best practices in promoting energy efficiency measures and the use and development of renewable energy in Brazil, China, India and South Africa, known as the BASIC countries.
