It will highlight the multiplier effects of integrated approaches for sustainable development, and accentuate the potential of the sustainable energy nexus as well as innovation to drive accelerated sustainable growth.

Enterprises in the REEEP Portfolio are not about business as usual. They are testing innovations in pioneer markets at the frontiers of poverty alleviation and climate impact, and face myriad challenges in breaking even, much less achieving scale. Analysing and understanding these challenges and how they can be overcome is our foremost objective.

REEEP invests in clean energy markets, targeting small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as drivers of innovation and change in high-impact value chains. Efficient and sustainable value chains are essential for creating the green growth the world needs in order to build prosperity, fight poverty and reduce environmental and climate damage.

COP 20 Side Event: Innovation and Collaboration for Transforming Knowledge into Climate Action

Relevant, timely and credible knowledge is critical to addressing climate change. The Climate Knowledge Brokers Group will report on new collaborative ways for managing data and information, sourced from different silos to create knowledge, insight and understanding. Includes hands-on case studies.

CTI PFAN Bangalore event helps entrepreneurs prepare to present their ideas

REEEP’s partner CTI PFAN organized a two-day event for entrepreneurs they support in South Asia to improve entrepreneurs’ ability to present their business models to investors. Nine entrepreneurs took part in the event, all of whom are seeking investment into clean energy – renewable energy or energy efficiency technology – as a service provider themselves, or for improving the efficiency of their own production processes.
