Switzerland

The Swiss Confederation is a funder of REEEP's 9th funding cycle of projects, through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, which is Switzerland's competence centre for all core issues relating to economic policy, trade and labour.

United Kingdom

The UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has been a prominent funder of REEEP projects and operations since 2009.  DECC envisions a thriving, globally competitive, low carbon energy economy. 

Its key priorities are to save energy with the Green Deal and support vulnerable consumers; to deliver secure energy on the way to a low carbon energy future; to drive ambitious action on climate change at home and abroad; and manage the UK energy legacy responsibly and cost-effectively.

Urban Transport Data Exchange

The transport sector is the fastest growing source of greenhouse gas emissions - transport-related GHG emissions are projected to increase by 57% (2005-2030) and by over 80% by 2050. Working together, REEEP, the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) and the World Wide Web Foundation intend to harness the power of Linked Open Data  to improve decision-making and planning to ensure low carbon, sustainable transport systems.

Government of Italy

In REEEP's 5th, 6th and 7th funding rounds, the Government of Italy funded a range of projects targeting the North African region via the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Centre (MEDREC) initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Territory.

Government of New Zealand

Through the Ministry for Economic Development (succeeded in July 2012 by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment), the Government of New Zealand has co-funded several REEEP projects in the Pacific region. The mission of the new combined Ministry is to be a catalyst for a high-performing economy by developing and delivering policy, services, advice and regulation for businesses to support economic growth.
