Martin Hiller will be speaking on a panel at the Austrian World Summit, where representatives from cities, companies, academia and civil society will gather to share innovative solutions in support of the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. The summit will be held under the patronage of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, with support of Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in his position of founder of the R20 Regions of Climate Action initiatvie.

The Austrian World Summit will be the kick-off event for a long-term initiative for sharing best practice examples of action in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the global climate change mitigation and adaptation goals of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Politicians, researchers and representatives of cities, regions, companies and civil society throughout the world are finding innovative solutions to pressing problems such as climate change and air pollution. The goal of the Austrian World Summit is to bring those actors together, to foster partnerships and the exchange of both experiences and ideas. It is critical that all stakeholders stay inspired and motivated in their efforts to implement the SDGs and that they find effective ways to learn from one another and scale solutions quickly.
