Overview of webinar
RETScreen is well-known around the world as a tool to analyze the viability of clean energy projects. However, it is also useful for planning, designing, implementing, and reviewing the viability of clean energy policies.
RETScreen allows participants in the policy process to consider the technology, business, and finance of clean energy in an integrated fashion, thus helping to develop appropriate—and ultimately, successful—policies.
The websinar will introduce the Clean Energy Policy Toolkit, and time permitting, participants will also be led through a case study demonstrating the use of the RETScreen software in choosing an appropriate feed-in tariff rate as an incentive for photovoltaic power projects.
RETScreen's Clean Energy Policy Toolkit was funded by a grant from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) based in Austria.
