This forum will present investors and financiers with a pipeline of projects which deal with the pressing issues of climate change and are looking for investment.

The Africa Climate Change Project Stream (ACCPS) Investor Forum will feature interactive investor panels and a business plan competition, and will showcase some of the most promising climate change investment opportunities in Africa. The shortlisted projects were selected from over 230 submitted proposals for their financial and technical viability, environmental benefits and their social and development impacts. They have developed bankable business plans with intensive coaching from CTI PFAN professional advisors.
The projects cover a range of climate change technologies, products and services across diverse economic sectors, including agriculture & agri-business, microfinance & micro insurance, and forestry & ecosystem services. Projects from countries across Africa, including Kenya, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, are represented at the forum.
The Africa Climate Change Investor Forum will be a unique opportunity for investors and financiers to access a select group of climate change projects with high profit potential and verified environmental and development benefits, which are ready for investment. It also provides an opportunity to network with entrepreneurs, project developers and other market participants as well as learn more about the market for climate change investment and financing in Africa. Over 30 adaptation related climate change projects are currently included in the CTI PFAN Project Development Pipeline. CTI PFAN has already raised over USD 1.2 billion for clean energy and related climate change projects.
