The third CTI PFAN Asia Forum for Clean Energy Financing will bring investors and financiers face to face with 10 specially selected clean energy projects and their business plans. The event is open to investors to interested stakeholders at no charge. Online registration is open until 13 February 2013.
Overview of event
Following the success of the first and second Forums, AFCEF-3 will bring together leading clean energy entrepreneurs in Asia with investors, fund managers and financiers that specialize in Asia’s clean energy sector. The Forum, which includes a business plan competition, will showcase some of the most promising clean energy investment opportunities in Asia.
Ten specially selected clean and renewable energy projects from around Asia will present their business plans at the Forum. The projects were selected for their commercial viability and environmental benefits from over 40 project proposals and have all received intensive coaching on the preparation of their business plans and investor pitches from CTI PFAN professional advisors.
A summary of the ten selected projects can be downloaded below. In addition to the top ten, a number of other quality projects from AFCEF-3 applicants will also be in attendance at the Forum.
For investors, AFCEF-3 will be a great opportunity to access a select group of clean energy projects with high profit potential, verified environmental and development benefits, which are ready for investment. It also provides a place to network with those entrepreneurs, project developers and other market participants and learn more about the market for clean energy investment and financing in Asia.
Over 164 clean energy projects have been included into the CTI PFAN Project Development Pipeline, of which 34 have achieved financial closure with over US$412 million of investment raised.
AFCEF-3 is sponsored by the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) and its Private Financing Advisory Network (CTI PFAN), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Energy for All Program of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer (ICETT) and is co-organized by the Dawn Consulting, CleanEnergy Solutions International (CSI), PPL International, the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) and ReEx Capital Asia.
