The G-STIC 2017 conference focuses on connecting technological innovation to decision making for sustainability. It aims to build knowledge bases and global expert networks to support the technological transitions needed for the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

G-STIC 2017 will be the first conference in a series and is a truly global venture, hosted jointly by the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO), the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).
G-STIC will foster collaboration among actors in the science, technology and innovation spheres, and connect them to policy makers from national and international levels to make technology know-how available for global policy setting.
