We are excited to participate in Davos Energy Week as an organisational partner and share our expertise! The three-day global online event will bring key political and business players to discuss vital energy issues.

On 20 January, REEEP's Director General Magdalena Kouneva will deliver a keynote presentation on "Multistakeholder Green Bank Model for Financing Energy Access in Developing Countries".
As markets evolve, private businesses providing off-grid renewable energy solutions represent the greatest opportunity to supply millions of people in developing countries with clean energy access. The roll-out, however, is constrained by the mismatch between available capital and projects considered investment-ready, as well as by the shortage of local financing and persistent high risks for the private sector. To address these challenges, REEEP – one of the oldest and most respected international partnerships for sustainable development – is evolving towards a multi-stakeholder green bank.
Join us at Davos Energy Week to learn more about our innovative model that will support the development of country-owned green finance facilities and credit enhancement mechanisms to mobilise international climate finance and private capital, working towards a low-carbon and climate-resilient future.
Davos Energy Week includes a series of online panels, keynotes, startup pitches, and presentations, and will provide an opportunity for the international community to discuss pathways to Energy Transition and Sustainability. Among confirmed speakers are representatives of international energy companies, central governments, world’s biggest banks, major consultancies and global corporations. We look forward to you joining the conversation!
