SANEDI, together with the South African Government and Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), is hosting a workshop in Johannesburg in March 2014. The 2-day workshop will provide an opportunity for stakeholders from the private and public sectors to engage and contribute towards building this framework for a solid map of EE in the housing sector.

The workshop provides a unique opportunity to discuss what has been implemented to date, what needs to be implemented in national planning and will also allow sharing of activities taking place in the sector.
REEEP and 1Bnm2E+10 partners GBPN seek to assess the potential contribution in Southern Africa towards its global intervention targeting 1 Billion m2 of energy positive buildings in 10 years from within the low and middle income housing sectors.
