The Zayed Future Energy Prize celebrates achievements that reflect impact, innovation, long-term vision and leadership in renewable energy and sustainability. The Zayed Prize represents the vision of the Late Founding Father and President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, who championed environmental stewardship.
This annual US$4 million prize award recognises individuals, companies, organizations and schools making a significant impact in the fields of renewable energy and sustainability.
The evaluation of each submission for the Prize consists of a four-stage process. Every category is evaluation according to our four criteria: Impact, Innovation, Leadership and Long-Term Vision.
How to apply
Submissions can be made in the Large Corporation, SME, NGO or Global Highschool categories. For submissions, first register as a candidate and then log in to begin filling out the application form.
Nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award simply require you to fill out the nomination form. Registration is not necessary.
There are no fees associated with completing an entry for nominations or submissions. Deadline is 5 August 2013.
