Peter is a professionally qualified Investment Manager having worked in Commercial Banking for Barclays, Sustainability and Climate change sector for Deloitte and over the last 15 years in the renewable energy IPP sector, working for a solar and wind IPP and for a battery energy storage developer and investor. Most recently, his focus has been on battery and solar hybrid renewable energy mini grids.

Geographically, Peter has worked across India, SE Asia, North America and Africa with notable experience in the development of and investment into clean and renewable energy projects.

Peter’s current experience is as the Head of Origination and Investment for a London listed vanadium business whose strategy has been focused on the forward vertical integration of the value chain, and the development of the supply chain to include the investment into vanadium redox flow battery projects. The strategy has been to bring battery energy storage to a commercial level focusing on investment into hybrid mini and micro grids across emerging markets.   

Peter has an undergraduate degree in Science and in Economics, a post graduate degree in Complex Systems Theory and holds an MBA from Henley Business School in the United Kingdom.

Professionally, Peter is qualified as a financial modeler and valuations analyst (FMVA) with the Corporate Finance Institute. He holds a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst qualification (CAIA), with experience supplementing these qualifications having spent a decade as a hedge fund manager managing and valuing exchange-based commodities and financial instruments.
